Weight loss gift CS:GO Cheap CSGO Skins during the Steam Purchase
Valve appears to be attempting to clamp down on alt-accounts.
The Steam Summer Sale is on! Lots of good deals available, including the famous team-based FPS Counter-Strike: Worldwide Offensive, which is currently half-price-that's $7. 50/£6. There's a catch, though, and it's kind of a strange one: If you buy it during the Summer Sale, you can't present it to someone else.
The restriction found light on Reddit, when a CS: PROCEED redditor said this individual was unable to purchase the game as a present and asked in case anyone else had experienced the same thing. A Valve rep quickly stepped in to confirm that everyone would experience the same task.
“CS: GO will not be giftable during the sale, ” the rep said. “Our goal with sales would be to grow the community as well as historically, during sales, the new users which stick around are mainly the ones that purchase copies for themselves. ”
That sounds in my experience like a nice method of saying that Valve wants to crack down on alt-accounts, which is easy to understand and even admirable, since it's effectively prioritize that over sales of the game. It's a bit surprising that there are no up-front warning of the game's present ungiftability, though; it's not like people are taking a loss on it, CSGO Ak47 Skins but a heads-up would proceed a long way toward staying away from unhappy surprises.
